The symbols themselves are not static across the boards. Two settings are represented: the home setting and the school setting. This download includes a 48 Core Word Board with small and large icons. The small icons version can be printed, laminated, and carried around with the student. The large icons can be cut out, laminated, and in conjunction with some Velcro can become an interactive poster. The vocabulary selected is based on an analysis of vocabulary required by my students to respond throughout the day in their classes.
