Teaching style

I believe in high expectations and the power of compassion. My training has taught me to be vigilant for barriers in the learning environment and to apply a creative lens to diminish these barriers. All kinds of brains are capable of learning, communicating, and meeting goals. I seek to engender a sense of wonder and the ability to think critically whether I am working with children or adults. I teach with a strong social justice orientation, using anti-racist, antibias and inclusive methods.
