I use entrance cards 180 days a year. For many of the topics I teach, I have a set of entrance cards. Entrance cards are a set of 30 cards with a single problem on each one. Each problem is unique and different than the rest of the cards in the set, however all are on the same topic. Before class begins, I pick one set of cards to use that day. As the students enter my classroom, I hand them a card. As they find their seats, they are required to copy and solve the problem in their noteboo
