Boost your Everyday Math instruction with these interactive journal templates. Designed to use with the second grade CCSS-version of the Everyday Math curriculum, students can use these templates as a reference all year long. This product includes templates to go with the big skills in all 9 of the units.
Pages are added, changed, and improved all year long. I created this to use in my second grade classroom and am always looking at ways to improve this product.
Unit 1:
Math About Me introd
Put together in one 19-page document, this unit breaks the chapter book into 4 sections. The tasks for each section include a context clues activity, a prediction, basic level comprehension questions, and a higher-level response question. 16 vocabulary words are also identified in a glossary-style format. This unit also includes a tic-tac-toe board of 9 activity choices and the graphic organizers required for the tasks.
Boost your students' comprehension with this graphic organizer. Students start by thinking about their background knowledge on the topic, take notes on new information and vocabulary as they read, and reflect on the author's main purpose for writing.
This is perfect for reading, science, social studies, or any other content area reading!
