I am an Instructional Technology Facilitator and District Testing Coordinator for a 3A Texas public school. I have been working at the district level for most of my career, but recently taught in the classroom for one year due to the teacher shortage. This experience helped me better understand the needs of classroom teachers and I plan to provide resources that enhance your classroom and meet your needs as a teacher.

A "How To" for Movie Maker (a free software)
I use this with my students when creating our Book Trailers using movie maker. This teaches students to follow step by step directions and also gives them the opportunity to problem solve, freeing you up for more important issues in the lab!

Fry Sight Words - 1st Grade - 1st 100 Words - Pear Deck/Google Slides
Utilizing Google Slides and Pear Deck, students will listen to the word given and circle the correct answer. Slides include 3-4 words per slide and a recording of the sight word being said aloud. Student will be able to listen to the word being read, then they circle the correct answer. FYI - This is 100 slides, but I recommend breaking it down to 10 slides each. I was unable to upload it that way, so I combined all the slides for you.

Flip Lesson: Earth, Moon, Sun Relationship
At the end of this lesson, students will be able to identify physical properties & Characteristics of the moon.
Students view video in Discovery Education, complete venn diagram (found in attachments), and save assignment in common area such as Edmodo at home. In class, student works with partners to create presentation on what they learned. A rubric is provided.

Nouns - SIngular to Plural - Visual and Written
Students used the attached PowerPoint to write a noun in the plural form using the existing singular noun. Then, students insert pictures using clip art or their own digital camera that represents both the singular and plural form of that noun.
