Parallel and Perpendicular Slope Exploration
Perpendicular and Parallel Slope Exploration gives students a chance to discover the relationship of slopes of parallel and perpendicular lines. They will use Desmos slider bar tools to do so. (Click here to see an example of how slider bars work.) Students will record their discovered parallel and perpendicular equations in tables. My philosophy of teaching is to find different ways for students to learn. I believe it is important to show students that math does apply to the "real world" and that yes, indeed, math can be fun.

I enjoy trying new strategies with my students and 'trying' to keep up with them and technology in the classroom.
