This is a compilation of 10 different chapel skits that last about 5-8 minutes each with minimal props or setting needed. I have middle school students act out each of these skits and they loved each one of them. They are simple and easy to learn and do. This is a Google Form that goes through the steps of Meiosis. It is all multiple choice, with pictures for each of the phases for the students to identify. I have the Google Form set up so that it will automatically grade the test for you. There are a total of 20 questions.
I created this resource to allow my students who were not able to attend our Washington DC trip to be able to create their own tour of all of the potential monuments and tourist sites. The students create a slideshow and use Screencastify to create a virtual tour of Washington DC with them as a tour guide.

This is an extensive class project that causes students to research and learn how science and technology have changed over the years and how they have impacted our lives. Students will be required to interview Engineers, Scientists, etc. to learn how they are using Science and Technology to improve/change how we live our lives today. Students will also have a chance to choose a cause that they would like to support and create an action plan on how they would run their campaign.
Students will use toy cars, timer, and ruler to create Distance vs. Time motion graphs. There is also an extension activity that challenges the students to model and graph an event that will show Distance vs. Time graphs can be used to keep people safe.

This is a Google Doc Assessment that I have created to assess students' retention of the basic formulas and conversion factors found in math. The first part is over the formulas used to find the perimeter and area of 2D shapes. The second part covers basic unit conversion factors. The last part, has the students label the radius, diameter, base, and height of basic 2D shapes. The answer key is included in the Google Doc.
This is a multiple choice quiz over the first 36 elements on the Periodic Table. The Google Form will self grade. The students will be given the element name and then they will need to choose the correct chemical symbol.
I use this walk-through activity to help my students learn how to combine like terms using the distributive property. Each student starts at a different slide somewhere around the room and then work their way through the problems to solve the math joke.
I created this SlideShow example to help students create a slideshow and video about Newton's 3 Laws of motion. The SlideShow is done in Google Slides and the Video is created by using FlipGrid. A rubric is included at the end of the SlideShow to help grade the project.
I use this lab with my students to give them a chance to see how geneticists use Karyotyping to identify different genetic mutations/disorders in offspring. The students will be matching chromosomes together and identifying if the offspring has a genetic mutation or not.
I have the students use saltine crackers and icing to create a house based off of their blueprints they create. Once the houses are made, we find out how well they stand up to an earthquake. The scientific method is used throughout this activity and is always a class favorite.
