This is a great resource for lower grades and/or differentiating lessons. The students can observe the defenses of an animal by sorting through pictures of different animals and categorizing their defenses based on four categories. Prickly defense, camouflage, shell or venomous defenses. This includes pictures of animals, a sort mat that can be laminated and a review for assessment.
