This is a great visual aid for students learning the differences between animals and what categorizes them as a herbivore, omnivore or carnivore. I used this with my kindergarteners,first and second graders.I followed the lesson up with students making a play doh model of animal teeth and sorted them out into the three categories.

The sheets are designed to scaffold learning so the students learn how to pull out main ideas, support them with details, use details to create a main idea and then create their own paragraphs. Using a box and bullet format. Great for whole class or small groups.

This is a great worksheets for younger students to learn temperature. Set up three couples to each group.Fill one with icy cold water, another with room temperature and one with warmed up water. have students first feel the difference between before using a thermometer. They watch as the mercury moves up and down the thermometer as they move it from cup to cup. A great tool for understanding thermometers and temperature.

These slides give visual assists to weather, climate, plants and animals that live in the desert. Great to use as a visual aid to any lesson on biomes and or habitats.
