About the store

Experience

I have taught multiple levels of high school math in my career and am currently working as a math interventionist at the high school level. The unique opportunity to work in various subjects and with various educators has given me a broad perspective of how to approach practice, note taking, assessment, and instruction.

Teaching style

I believe that students learn and retain information best when they are actively solving problems and working collaboratively with their peers.

My own education history

I earned my undergraduate degree in business before doing a teacher certification program through the local community college. I started as a special education teacher but transitioned to a high school math teacher. I have my masters in education leadership and am partway through my masters in math education.
