I have taught multiple levels of high school math in my career and am currently working as a math interventionist at the high school level. Finding Slope Partner Activity
Each partner finds the slope of their own points, but should get the same answer as their partner, even with different points. If answers don't match, the pair must troubleshoot their responses to find the correct answer.

Midpoint Formula Partner Activity
Students work with a partner, each finding the midpoint of their own coordinate points. Even though their problems are different, the answers in each row match so students can check their work and troubleshoot with each other when needed. Great as a collaborative activity or as a partner quiz!

I believe that students learn and retain information best when they are actively solving problems and working collaboratively with their peers.
My own education history
I earned my undergraduate degree in business before doing a teacher certification program through the local community college. I started as a special education teacher but transitioned to a high school math teacher. I have my masters in education leadership and am partway through my masters in math education.
