Jenn Breisacher’s teaching journey began in 2007, bringing expertise in social studies and a commitment to student-centered learning to classrooms across New Jersey. After earning dual degrees in History and Education from Monmouth University, Jenn spent over a decade perfecting a student-led approach that she now infuses into her social studies resources.
Drawing on experience from both an academically rigorous district and a Title I technical school, Jenn’s resources are designed to be adaptable and relevant for diverse classrooms. Every resource reflects her deep understanding of historical content and her commitment to creating impactful, student-focused classrooms that bring history and social sciences to life.
With Student-Centered World, founded in 2018, she empowers educators to move beyond traditional lecture models, providing resources that make inquiry, critical thinking, and hands-on engagement central to the learning experience.

Math Racer: Timed multiplication times table game
This fun multiplication game for students is an independent activity that gives them “laps” around the track to answer their chosen times table equations. There can be either one or three laps taken with their “lap times” recorded. The possibilities are endless with this hands-on math activity to review multiplication. Teaching style
I’m dedicated to a fully learner-centered approach, incorporating student choice, hands-on activities, and a mix of independent and collaborative experiences, all with an emphasis on soft skill development. Student-centered learning is a powerful approach because it naturally differentiates to meet the needs of every student who walks into the classroom and is the absolute best way to teach a social studies classroom.
