When I first started teaching, lesson planning was a time-consuming task that often felt overwhelming. Unfortunately, this challenge doesn’t always get easier with experience. Teaching style
In regards to my teaching style, I mainly use an exploration-based approach. However, I understand that many substitute teachers will find this challenging to implement if they do not have a strong background in Math. Thus, my substitute plans will focus on instruction that is more traditional.
Additional biographical information
I was born and raised in Montana and currently live in Virginia with my husband and son. I have taught integrated Math 1, PreCalculus, and Geometry. I love teaching and helping students to grasp the concepts behind the material.
