I created this activity to help reinforce the skill of adding and subtracting fractions with unlike denominators in my 4th and 5th grade classrooms. Students complete 14 problems, then find their answers in the crack the code portion. Once they crack the code, they will have the answer to a riddle at the bottom. This way they can self check. If their answer is not in the chart, they can retry the problem. Answer sheet is included!!

I created this document for my 3rd graders to practice their calculator skills. Students complete a problem, then color their answer on a hundreds chart. Just in time to celebrate Read Across America Day!

I created this activity for my 3rd graders to practice sequencing with the story The Lorax. There are 7 events on truffula trees that the students will place in order. I had my students draw tree trunks, the ground, and animals from the story. It turned out great! Use this activity with Earth Day coming up!

The game was created to review coordinate graphing in the first quadrant. I can recreate to incorporate other quadrants if you need those. The game is play just like the board game Battleship. Students call out coordinates and map them on the record sheet to try to be the first player to "sink" a ship.
