About the store
Teaching is an absolute passion of mine! This is my 22nd year of teaching, and I have worked for Fayetteville Public Schools for the past 15 years. I have taught 4th, 5th, 6th, and 8th grade language arts & social studies, and I am a Certified Academic Language Therapist. I previously served as a literacy coach for Fayetteville Public Schools, and I am Nationally Board Certified as well as a Master Professional Educator. I absolutely LOVE teaching, and I am passionate about helping learners reach their fullest academic potential. I currently teach an Orton-Gillingham based multisensory language therapy program called Take Flight: A Comprehensive Intervention for Students with dyslexia.

Experience

Teaching is an absolute passion of mine! This is my 22nd year of teaching, and I have worked for Fayetteville Public Schools for the past 15 years. My goals as an educator are to motivate, inspire, generate student’s curiosity, and to create an exceptionally positive instructional learning environment. I believe every child can succeed, and through meaningful collaboration we can create a positive professional learning community.

I am a Nationally Board Certified teacher, and I have been awarded Teacher of the Year by two school districts. I am a Certified Academic Language Therapist with a K-12 certification in ESL.
