This 4 page file includes the images of the characters in one of the versions of the Little Red Hen (cat, dog, mouse, hen) for students to colour, cut and paste to make a pattern. It also includes a character sort where students have to colour, cut and paste characters who are in the story and who were not in the story. I did these activities with my special needs students in kindergarten but it can be used for kinders-grade 1.
This 2 page tracking sheet helps educators to quickly see what reading levels your students are reading at. The second page provides a more detailed chart with sample comments. I used this tracking sheet to keep myself organized but also to bring with me to meetings and discuss progress.
Can be customized to other reading levels and criteria.

This pre-constructed observation sheet is a great template to use when assessing a math performance-based/hands-on task. It is ready to go with areas of observation and look-fors. It includes a sample task and can be customized to fit your specific task. It can be used again and again. Everything you need for assessment fits on 1 page so that you can easily attach it to a clip board and assess.
This template includes a page for each month (September-June). Each page has a separate box for each subject to help plan for the year. You can customize it suit your specific expectations. On the final page, you can input ideas for next year. You can type directly into each subject box or print it and complete by hand.

This is an "I See" book about Winter and it's interactive too! Just print each page and laminate for durability. Students can match pictures and build a snowman! You can use sticky Velcro so that the matching is easier. I'm using it in my Diagnostic Kindergarten class :) Please rate it and let me know what you think!!
This set is ready for printing! A place mat with numbers 1 to 10 are matched with cards that have different amounts of stars on them. Students match the pictures to the numbers.
You can laminate the matching cards and the place mat so that it lasts longer. You can even add Velcro to them. Great game for a math centre, independent work or special education class.

This 7 page file is differentiated to meet the needs of kinders and grade ones. Students have the opportunity to draw a snowman and label it with pre-typed labels. They have a visual success criteria to ensure their snowman is complete. I used this with my special needs kinder class and it met the needs of everyone. Some of your students may write on their own without the labels.

This is a one page document that focuses on spelling the following sight words I am me my and the a It helps students to practice letter formation using the different sized boxes, teaches them how to make a list and helps sound out each letter. With my Senior Kindergarten students, we first write each word on sticky notes putting one letter on a separate sticky note and they have to put the letters in order.
