These fill in the blank notes define action, linking, and verb phrases, as well as give examples. There is the filled in version to project. This is one part of my verbs mini-unit which includes notes, task cards, and a worksheet.

This is a good activity to have students practice conjugating and meanings of regular -ar verbs in the present tense. Students cut up the pieces and piece them back together matching the Spanish to the English meaning.

In this worksheet, students are asked to circle the verb or verbs, then tell whether it is an action, linking, or verb phrase. This is part of my verbs mini-unit which also includes guided notes and task cards.

This is an genre journal for independent reading in the classroom. Students use this to keep track of which genres they have read.
