In this lab, students will use a roll of toilet paper to compare the distances between different planets and the distance from various planets to the Sun.
In this lab, students will test the affect of water on black felt ink. They will use their observations to compare and analyze different brands of felt pens.
In this quiz students analyze statements, tables and pictures to make various observations and inferences. It's a great review assessment for students who are struggling to see the difference between observations and inferences.

Basic Principles, General Science, Other (Science)
In this lab, students will use "measure" the mass of atomic particles using a paper clip, sand, clay and/or water. This will show the students how the mass of an electron compares to the masses of protons and neutrons.

In this lab, students will see how different color rectangles stand out or blend in within a specific environment. This lab relates to camouflage and habitats.
In this lab, students will observe the affects of the Earth's rotation on spacecrafts and how they are launched.
