Students will identify the three types of variables used in an experiment. Then, they will examine different statements to determine what would be the independent and dependent variables to prove that statement correct or false.
Students will learn how to make inferences based on background knowledge and observations. They will practice making inferences with two pictures, a boiling pot of water and two cylinders of water.
