Students look at 10 scenarios and determine if the USDA or EPA is in charge of regulation. This Google Form is set to auto-grade. Use the scenarios to extend learning by having students make a one-pager of how the agency should handle the situation. This assignment is designed to be used with MyCAERT lesson A-1-6 -  Government Agencies and Private Organizations in the Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources Industry but can be used independently.

Students design a farm using several common commodities with certain specifications with the goal of creating a diverse and profitable operation. The assignment is designed to be used with MyCAERT lesson A-1-4 - Agricultural Commodities in the United States but can be used independently.

In this assignment, students are tasked to create a podcast looking at the future of farming and the impacts it will have. Eight topic choices are available as well as guiding questions and additional instructions. Farm to Fork can be defined in two ways. One, it can describe the steps taken to get a product from the farm to the table. This is a no prep research project using Google Sites. Students create their own site on a selected topic. I have included topics that were covered in my class. You just need to switch out the list of approved topics for your own class! Use this as a single or group project.
