This is my twelfth year teaching with the past six years in third grade. This year begins my first year teaching fifth grade and I'm excited about adding new items appropriate for the new grade level to my store.
This fun activity asks the students to decorate their addition and subtraction fact family Christmas trees by gluing ornaments in the correct places. Three numbers are displayed on each Christmas tree trunk. The students are asked to find the four Christmas ornaments that represent the fact family that those three numbers belong to. Those ornaments are glued in place and the fact family Christmas tree is then complete.

Three numbers are displayed on each Christmas tree trunk. The students are asked to find the four Christmas ornaments that represent the fact family that those three numbers belong to. Those ornaments are glued in place and the fact family Christmas tree is then complete.
This fun hands-on activity asks the children to not only complete multiplication equations with the correct numbers, but also to label the property of multiplication that each equation represents. The students cut a paste the answers onto the correct spaces. This can be used a review activity or quick assessment.
This fun activity asks the students to answer several multiplication and division problems located all over Santa. He presents the students with math problems from his Santa’s hat all the way down to his boots.
