This is a bundle of 8 lessons and a review I used with 5th graders. The lessons are also available individually for sale! The lessons are designed to reteach fraction skills in a small group setting, although it could be used whole group. They are scripted, as they were created for a tutor to use them. Lessons include 1. finding simplest form 2. finding common denominator 3. turning mixed numbers into improper fractions 4. turning improper fractions into mixed numbers 5. adding mixed numbers 6.

The Smartboard activity goes over the steps for comparing fractions. It reviews when the numerators are the same, when the denominators are the same, and when you need to cross multiply. Examples are given for each situation. Then students practice comparing fractions. There are 12 questions with answers. It works well for small group practice or for a whole group review.

This smartboard activity helps students learn or review the six different ways to name triangles (acute, right, obtuse, equilateral, scalene, and isosceles) Students explore the different types of angles, and how those can be used for naming the triangle. After sorting the triangles by their angles, students learn the different ways to name triangles by their sides. They also sort the triangles in this way. The last page can be printed for student review- with the six different types of triangle

This smartboard activity has four sets of nine story problems relating to adding and subtracting money. Question sets become increasingly more difficult, providing differentiation for small group math time, or extra practice for whole group math throughout the duration of a unit. Every question has an answer hidden underneath, so students working independently can check their answers. Directions for using it as a whole group hyper tic-tac-toe (my students love this!) are included.

This Smartboard activity reviews how to use a protractor and give the students 10 problems to give them practice using the protractor. It is interactive, and works great in a small group!
