About the store
Teaching is my passion. I've taught a variety of grades at a variety of public and private schools. I started my teaching career at a private school in Taiwan, then moved home to Utah where I taught elementary for 7 years. When my own kids came along I started a preschool in our basement. Now I am focused on teaching and learning with my kids and healing naturally from breast cancer. You can read more about that journey @lostbells & @tangledwithtinkering.

They leave it face-up on the desk and when their parent comes to parent teacher conference they have to search for their child's desk by reading the riddles. Once they find it they can turn the paper over to check if they were right and the student has written them a letter of appreciation for supporting them in their education on the back. Before writing the

Teaching style

The schools I've taught at have all been very different and each has added something new to my style and experience. A key ingredient to my teaching is music. I try to use music and rhythm in every subject.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Once I was surprised by a local news camera crew and awarded teacher of the week! I had been nominated by multiple parents and selected out of over 2000 nominations! I was so surprised!!

My own education history

I have a BA in Early Childhood a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
