This form is great for students to relay a multitude of different messages to you from great/private/announcement news to personal problems in class, or other areas of their life. It also serves as a wonderful form of documentation if you file them all in one area. Students put the form or a blank paper in the envelope when they have a chance, teachers read as soon as possible and handle it according. ZERO tattle telling in class. Teaching style

I think there is a season for all different styles of teaching. I love listening to others when they are passionate about a lesson. In return I enjoy talking about exciting lessons I plan to do or have done with success in the past. If I were to break it down it would probably look something like this. 10-15% Direct Instruction (information, presentations, directions) 20-30% Partner Work (reading, research, projects, technology, conversation, validation of ideas or learning) 30-40% Group Work (literature circles, projects, presentations, etc) 20%ish~~~ independent (confirmation of ideas, independent thought process, book selections, etc.)
