To encourage home use of AAC devices by including personal and other relevant vocabulary on the device for the home setting. This can go home to parents when introducing a new device or updating a current one for their input on information personally relevant to the student.

I have started theme weeks this year and lesson plans to keep my self organized, more focused and to draw some enthusiasm into speech class. I work with a wide range of ages (preschool-elementary) so the lesson plans take that into account with games I use (store bought, TPT purchased with sellers names, etc), craft activities and books that can be used for main idea, "wh" questions, sequencing, etc. I have found this to be a quick way to complete some direct instruction with vocabulary when
