Experience
I have been teaching English as a Second Language and Reading Program at the Middle School for 30 years in Indiana and in Russia. I help my students enjoy learning, work on their reading and writing skills and become successful at school.
Teaching style
I believe that interesting and meaningful materials and activities can help our students learn better and become successful at school. I have created a lot of useful and effective materials that helped my students enhance their learning and become better readers and writers. I am happy to share my experience with other teachers!
Awards & shining teacher moments
I was recognized of Excellence in teaching English and American studies in Russia. I was honored to get Excellence in Teaching in Russia. I spoke at the ESL conference to the teachers of Indiana with my presentation about teaching students by using elements of drama.
My own education history
I got my Bachelor degree in English and German in Russia, and Master in Education at Indiana Wesleyan University in the US. I have been teaching English to the ELL students, System 44, and Read 180, Lexia, and Reading classes.
