With a partner, students will play the game of battleship where they ask their partner if they have a ship at ____, _____ coordinate and the partner will say yes, you have a hit or no, sorry. I think I speak for everyone when I say our students forget their basic math skills while on breaks from school. These worksheets have students practicing addition and subtraction in a more interesting way. Students add or subtract, depending on the shape they choose to begin on, when they have solved the question, they locate the answer at the bottom, find the corresponding color, and then they color the shape appropriately.
