This file contains comprehension questions for the secondary texts in Journeys Grade 4, Unit 2. It can be used for supplemental assessment, independent reading, guided reading, or homework, depending on the needs of your class.
This pennant can be completed in the beginning of the school year. Students decorate pennant on the front with their name and either a self portrait or a picture related to their goal. On the second side, the student writes a brief statement about their goal. Glue both sides together, punch a hole in the top, slide ribbon or yarn through the hole and hang across your classroom wall or ceiling. For added color, have students trace and cut a slightly larger triangle on colored construction paper.
