Create and interpret line plots with fractions! Great for Common Core Math Standards in 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade!
In this activity, students are measuring the length of caterpillars using a ruler. There are 26 caterpillars with lengths that are 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1 1/2, 1 3/4. Students are then asked to plot all the caterpillars on a line plot above their length.
There are 10 questions that relate to reading the line plot that the student created.
An answer key is included.
