About the store

Although I am currently in my final year to complete my Master's of Secondary Education, I have been teaching in middle and high school classrooms for three years in English and Spanish classes. The lessons I include on this site come from lessons I have implemented as well as unit plans that have been completed as assignments in my Curriculum & Instruction courses. I also have organizational tools that I have had to create for use in the classroom as well as to present to professors that I hope will help other teachers!

These pages can be printed to create your very own planner for the 2020-2021 school year! Monthly and weekly layouts are included, as well as a year-at-a-glance page, a page for next year's notes, coloring pages for each month, and a weekly to-do list! I made this for myself to use in my English and Read180 classes, so the "ALL Weekly Layouts" file has those subjects filled in, but a customizable weekly layout is also included for each month.

Teaching style

I prefer to give a little bit of direction instruction here and there, and then really let my students take the lead. I love project-based assessments and connecting thematic units with novels and nonfiction texts. I also incorporate a lot of pop culture and media relevance for my students.
