These tasks are designed to develop students’ ability to partition numbers to 20. They help students to improve their early understanding of how numbers can be made up, and addition and subtraction facts to 20.

Experience
I have eleven years teaching experience across grades Pre-K to 6. I currently teach in Australia, but have also taught in the USA.
Teaching style
I am easily inspired and love to find ways to improve learning for my students using a variety of strategies and ideas. My goal is to remain a flexible teacher, taking on board the new things I learn and modifying my practices as necessary. I am passionate about using technology to support students in becoming literate and numerate. Wherever possible I differentiate tasks to suit the varied needs of students in my class. I like to find and create resources that really get kids thinking, and can be easily modified to suit new situations.
