About the store

Experience

I have been teaching since 2005, specializing in the unique area of Middle years and loving it. I have had experience in grade 5, 7 and 8. I have recently been teaching grade eight math and science for the past 5 years.

Teaching style

I try to make every learning experience a challenging, rewarding and successful one for all students. I use a variety of techniques and activities to make sure that I am touching on all of the multiple intelligences.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I have designed and presented my ideas and concepts at numerous PD opportunities. I was featured in a video developed by my division, the focus of which was differentiated instruction in the math classroom.

My own education history

I graduated from the University of Manitoba, with an Advanced Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in Mathematics (2003), then went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Education (with distinction), specializing in the Middle Years stream (2005).
