Appropriate for AP Statistics, this is a 6x6 sudoku with 18 probability problems labeled A to R.  The answer to each probability question is converted to a number from 1 to 6 which is then entered into the lettered cell.  After all problems are completed, students can solve the sudoku as a check on their answers.

Teaching style

Both Keith and Mary believe in student-centered classrooms. They have found that authentic tasks and critical thinking applications lend themselves well to engaging students while driving understanding and retention.

My own education history

Keith graduated from high school in 1998 before earning his bachelor's degree in Mathematics from St. Mary's College of Maryland in 2002. In 2019 Keith completed his Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. Mary graduated from high school in 1971 before earning her bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Goucher College in 1974. She earned her Master's in Mathematics from University of Central Florida in 1982. Mary has also been a reader for the AP Statistics exams 14 different times.
