This is my second official year of teaching but I have been working for students since I was in middle school while working at a summer program at Wayne State University.
A different way for students to look at the Expectations and Policies of the classroom. The students really enjoyed the change! It also helped that everything was separated by category so when I asked follow-up questions, they were easy to find! ****Unless you are Microsoft Word savvy, you'll want to make sure you stay within the margins of the boxes. Otherwise, they will move around and change size. Then you'll have to fix it back to line up. It can be difficult if you don't work with Micr
This crossword puzzle reviews Algebra 1, Geometry, & Algebra 2 vocabulary and also provides a way for students to self check their words. If the word doesn't fit, it's incorrect! The words chosen can be seen in the Preview. They are words that Algebra 2 students should already know. This is a great way to start the Algebra 2 school year off in making sure students are ready to get into Algebra 2 topics. The key is included. Have fun! Don't forget to leave a review :-)
This is a cool way to have your students review words. Students thought it was fun to have the change of pace of me telling them they do the word search. They treated it like a game.
An alternative to could be having students fill in the words and give the word search as extra credit.
There will be Crossword version of this coming soon :-)
Don't forget to review and comment :-)
These notes were used in my Algebra 1 and 2 classes where we are currently implementing Interactive Notebooks. The students liked that I had saved them a bunch of writing with this one :-).
You could, of course, simply use these notes and treat them as regular notes and have the students write it out old school style. I've taught it both ways and its fine.
**Helpful Teacher Comment** Be sure to allow the students to discuss words they think will fall under each Operation category before writ

I made this after I taught Log Properties to my students. They knew the properties but were struggling to figure out what to do first when Expanding and Condensing. After doing this half sheet with them, followed by more practice problems, they were Log Masters! This is meant to be copied double-sided and cut in half to make a half sheet, front and back. Hope it helps your students as much as it helped mine! PS...Don't forget to leave your opinion ;-)

Teaching style
I believe that every student had GREATNESS within them. They may not always show it but I make sure that my student know that I care about them. They must trust us, as teachers. Only then, will we receive our students' best work
