Teaching style

I focus on student-centered, inquiry-based learning around anchoring scientific phenomena.

My own education history

I have a Bachelor's in Evolutionary Biology, a Masters in Teaching, as well as certifications in Gifted and AP. Prior to becoming a teaching I worked as a paleontologist intern at a local museum and as a research assistant at Joseph Jones Ecological Research Center where I studies long-leaf pine ecosystems. I am also a published paleontologist where my research focused on functional morphology of theropod dinosaurs.
