This is a bundle of 3rd grade Standards using "I Can Statements" for Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Each subject includes colorful eye catching posters with examples, of all the academic standards on full size sheets. Also included are mini posters ( 4 to a sheet). Mighty math is a daily practice of math skills for reinforcement and retention of skills taught during the year. • Distribute the weekly sheet on Monday and review the skill of the week with the students. On the first day, model the problems while students complete the sheet with the teacher. • On days 2-5 students complete the 4 problems independently. Here's a new take on an old time game. Use the Cootie Catchers to help your students learn their basic multiplication facts. The minute you introduce these to your students, you will see their excitement level rise! The set includes facts 2s - 12s. Each Cootie Catcher includes facts X2 - X9 (since students probably don't need to practice X0 and X1). This resource is a collection of math vocabulary manipulatives that I have used in my third grade classroom. When students practicing math vocabulary use these manipulatives repeatedly, they learn the ideas easily and quickly! These manipulatives may be used for individuals, in centers, or for whole group instruction. This clock set will help students learn to tell time in Superhero fashion! Superheroes may be added to the time intervals. There are 2 time worksheets included. One requires students to tell time to the nearest hour and half hour. The second worksheet requires students to tell time to the nearest 5 minutes. These addition computation task cards work well for fast finishers who need extra practice with computation. They could also be used in centers, or during a math “workshop”. Since there are 20 task cards at each level, you could assign the appropriate level that the student needs to practice.
