• Distribute the weekly sheet on Monday and review the skill of the week with the students. On the first day, model the problems while students complete the sheet with the teacher.
• On days 2-5 students complete the 4 problems independently. After the problems are completed, go over the answers with the students having students correct their mistakes. Discuss the problem and clear up

Here's a new take on an old time game. Use the Cootie Catchers to help your students learn their basic multiplication facts. The minute you introduce these to your students, you will see their excitement level rise! The set includes facts 2s - 12s. Each Cootie Catcher includes facts X2 - X9 (since students probably don't need to practice X0 and X1). The resource also provides directions for folding the cootie catcher and directions for a game using the cootie catchers along with a score sheet. H
These addition computation task cards work well for fast finishers who need extra practice with computation. They could also be used in centers, or during a math “workshop”. Since there are 20 task cards at each level, you could assign the appropriate level that the student needs to practice.
