OLAF HAS MELTED! Students will purchase items to help Elsa and Ana build a new snowman. Students will add up their money for the things that they have purchased to find how much they spent. The students will then answer word problems based on their totals.

Addition and Subtraction with unknowns in all positions. 5 days of lesson plans include teacher modeling, student activities, clear daily targets, common core state standards, vocabulary.

Students will use M&M candy to create a tally table using tally marks and charting frequency of occurring colors. The students will use the graph to answer questions about their data.

Addition and Subtraction Math Tasks that include number line, ten frames, doubles +1, and hundreds chart. All align with Common Core State Standards.

Students will collect data after the class has used proper measuring tools to find the length of their foot. The students will use the data to create a pictograph and create a coordinating key to match the data. The students will then analyze the data on the pictograph to answer and create questions.
