I use this poster to help students who cannot remember or are new to traditional combination locks. The arrows point in the right-left-right directions. This chart is one that I use as a guided note sheet or graphic organizer for my students to complete during class (while I provide notes or for research), for homework, as a review, or as a part of a culminating activity. For the latter, I would begin by assigning a biome to each of my students. They would have to complete research using the chart or via another means (I usually have them create a foldable of sorts with the information.) Then, I would assign students into groups where one "ex
