I use this Cooking Lab Behavior and Checkout Sheet to help me keep track of how well students are doing in their cooking labs! I have every kitchen in my foods and nutrition and foods 2 class grab one of these and fill it out at the beginning of the lab. Have a student that is refusing to do an assignment? I always keep these assignment refusal forms in an envelope on my desk and I have my highschool students fill them out if they are actively choosing to NOT do an assignment! I let students know that I will be sending a photo of the form to their parents and BOOM it's like magic - all of a sudden they decide that they will do their assignment!
