Following each chapter, students test their comprehension of the content of The Great Gatsby by completing this exit slip/reading check. This Google Form is self-grading, and it can be used as a quiz, reading check, exit slip, and discussion starter.

Students immerse themselves in the culture of Babylon by becoming a tour guide. Either individually or with a partner, students create a guided tour which includes a written script, citations, a bit of humor, and a presentation. We put a specific emphasis on primary and secondary sources. Question types include multiple choice, fill in the blank, essay, and short answer. Questions have answers on auto-grade.
