Experience

Creating engaging, organized, and editable math resources for secondary classrooms. I have 10 years of teaching experience at the high school level teaching a variety of subjects including Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Health, Personal Finance, and Computers. Throughout my career, I have focused on creating organized, engaging, and student-friendly resources that help students build confidence while mastering challenging concepts. My classroom experience has helped me develop lessons and materials that balance rigor with accessibility, making learning more approachable for all students. Many of the resources in my store are inspired directly by what has worked successfully in my own classroom.

Teaching style

My teaching style focuses on creating structured, engaging, and supportive learning experiences for students of all ability levels. I believe students learn best when concepts are broken down clearly, modeled step-by-step, and paired with opportunities for hands-on learning and real-world application. I incorporate guided notes, interactive activities, discovery learning, games, and projects to help students stay engaged while building conceptual understanding. I also prioritize organization and consistency so students feel confident and supported throughout each unit. As a teacher, I aim to make math feel less intimidating and more approachable while still challenging students to think critically and problem solve independently.

My own education history

I earned my Master’s Degree in Instruction and Curriculum from Central Michigan University. In addition, I am Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Certified and Google Education Technology Certified. My educational background and certifications have helped shape my approach to creating accessible, organized, and technology-friendly resources that support diverse learners and modern classrooms.
