Teaching style

My teaching style focuses on creating structured, engaging, and supportive learning experiences for students of all ability levels. I believe students learn best when concepts are broken down clearly, modeled step-by-step, and paired with opportunities for hands-on learning and real-world application. I incorporate guided notes, interactive activities, discovery learning, games, and projects to help students stay engaged while building conceptual understanding. I also prioritize organization and consistency so students feel confident and supported throughout each unit. As a teacher, I aim to make math feel less intimidating and more approachable while still challenging students to think critically and problem solve independently.

My own education history

I earned my Master’s Degree in Instruction and Curriculum from Central Michigan University. In addition, I am Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Certified and Google Education Technology Certified. My educational background and certifications have helped shape my approach to creating accessible, organized, and technology-friendly resources that support diverse learners and modern classrooms.
