The first few days (honestly, even sometimes weeks) of the school year are all about building community and understanding expectations. Sometimes, it can be difficult to think outside of the curriculum and create ways to help students get settled in. Teaching style
I really love a structured classroom. I thrive on routines and consistency as do my students! That doesn't mean we can't have fun though!!!
My own education history
I loved school as a student. I was a peer tutor for 10 years and loved every minute of school. I loved the constant expectations and learning opportunities, so I continued it for a career!!!
