The Trek to Mount Olympus is a math mini-unit requiring students to plan a trip to Mount Olympus. Students will need to find flights, convert dollars to Euros, calculate the cost of gas, locate various cities in Greece, etc. There are five missions that students will need to complete: Mission #1 - Background Information Mission #2 - Travel to Athens Mission #3 - Fun in Athens Mission #4 - Trip to Mount Olympus Mission #5 - Exploring Greece

This document includes definitions for various assessment terminology including raw score, cut score, stanine, lexile, percentile, norm-reference group, criterion-reference test, and RIT score. A comparison of the ISTEP (Indiana) and NWEA is included. This information can be used as a "cheat sheet" when explaining these items to parents and other teachers.
