Visual analogy used to teach students the concepts of emotional regulation. Concepts include, understanding triggers, utilize coping skills, expressing emotions appropriately, and increasing stress tolerance. Optimal for 4th - 9th grade. Might need to be adapted for younger elementary students or older high school students.
The first two pages explains the concepts. The last four pages are guided think sheets.
This is a small token chart that can fit on a student's desk. In the middle of the frame is the target behavior that will be reinforced. Every time the student demonstrate the target behavior, you can check off one box. When all 20 boxes are checked off, student is rewarded. The chart is 3.5" x 3.5" and is a great small size for a student's desk. Laminate it for multiple use. The Editable Word Document can be changed to fit your student's needs. Can be used at home or at school!
