Fun project to help students with fluency and comprehension. Each will practice reading the children’s book to a group of your friends or family members, use fluency and expression as if you were the teacher and show the pictures as well They will then create 5 open ended questions to pass out to the class for them to answer about your children’s book (think about characters, plot, dialogue, themes, conflicts, title, etc)

Students can create a memory book at the end of the school year by following the steps in this activity sheet
