Night Chapter Overview
This 45 slide presentation provides a thorough overview of all 9 chapters of the novel, Night by Elie Wiesel. It also includes a 4-slide introduction "Before Reading" section to help students build background about the time period and historical context. Podcast Project Introduction
This 7-slide Google Slideshow provides the perfect introduction and directions to a Podcast Unit. In this project, students will work individually or with a group to learn, analyze, and ultimately, create a podcast on their own.It includes directions, requirements, an introduction video, tips, and topic ideas.This originally was for use with the NPR Student Podcast challenge, but could be used independently as simply as class project as well.

Group Jigsaw Podcast Task
In this task, students will work in a small group to listen to the 2021 winners of the NPR Student Podcast Challenge, and analyze the podcast by answering critical thinking questions. Students must collaborate on the slideshow in order to complete all questions. After the slideshow is completed, students can either share their findings with one another or present to the whole class! This is a great way for students to hear exemplar podcasts and get ideas for creating their own!

I have presented at the New Tech Network national conference in Orlando, Florida, in 2017 on the topic of "Managing Teams in the Middle School Classroom".
I am currently the team leader for our high school's Sophomore English Department.
I have led several Professional Development Sessions to teachers throughout our school district on topics such as: Managing Teams in the Classroom, Strategies for Group Work, and other Instructional strategies.
