Interactive animal and habitat vocabulary cards! How we did it: Students collaborated with a partner to come up with a definition for the word that they were assigned to based on what they learned during our animal and habitat integrated project-based learning unit. After their definition was edited and approved, they wrote their definition on the card, traced it in black flair pen, and drew a picture to match their words. We displayed their work on a vocabulary bulletin board during the unit.
