About the store
Hi there! I'm Morgan, a passionate educator with a love for all things STEM and a knack for making learning engaging and accessible. I’ve taught a variety of subjects across 2nd-8th grade, with most of my years focused on upper elementary and middle school. Math and science have always been my favorites, but ELA found its way into my heart during my time in public school—so now, I just love teaching everything! After working in an immersive STEM program that deepened my love for hands-on, inquiry-based learning (before it was unfortunately dismantled by the district), I transitioned into my current role as a STEM instructor for 2nd-9th graders at a small private school. I also facilitate online learning for 8th and 9th graders, guiding them through subjects like Algebra, U.S. History, Biology, ELA… or really any course they take! I’m excited to share my passion for innovative, student-centered learning through engaging resources that make teaching easier and learning more fun. Let’s make magic in the classroom!

Teaching style

At Modern Minds Learning, we focus our enrichment classroom learning around STEM and conservation efforts. My teaching style includes mostly project based learning and experiential learning. Over the years I have discovered that most students excel when they are fully immersed in a topic, book, skill, etc. and we should be relating our content delivery to match the workforce our students will enter.

Additional biographical information

Most of my products on TPT are basic (fonts and design, etc.) but they are always worth the time! I am more concerned with the "quality" of what I am teaching and less what the cutesy appearance may be. If you happen to checkout my long-range plans/daily lesson plans, most of the activities are self explanatory. I hope you find something helpful! :)
